Description
This qualification would apply to individuals with little or no vocational experience but who
possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to further
develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities are ideally
suited for this qualification. The qualification is designed to equip participants with the
skills and knowledge to manage operational facets across a wide range of business functions.
Pathways
There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
Candidates may enter the qualification through a number of entry points demonstrating potential to undertake vocational education and training at advanced diploma level, including:
- BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business or other relevant qualification.
This qualification provides a pathway to work within various job titles including executive officers, program consultants and program coordinators.
After successful completion of this course, you could progress to BSB60215 Advanced Diploma of Business.

Course Delivery and Assessment
Classroom Based - course is delivered face to face through a combination of
structured classroom sessions and practical training We use various forms of assessment,
including written assessment, demonstration and observation, case studies, projects and role
plays.
RPL / Course Credit
SCM offers Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Course Credit to students through the enrolment process.
Completion
At the successful completion of the course students will be awarded with the "Testamur" and a "Record of Results" which provides detailed Units of Competency completed in the course.
At the Partial Completion of the course students will be awarded with a "Statement of Attainment" which will detail only the Units of Competency that student has achieved competency from the course.
